Blue Couch is a favourite lawn type which often referred to as Queensland Blue, it is neither from Queensland, nor is it a Couch. It’s nickname came from its optimum performance and suitability to this region.
It is commonly found in sports fields and parks across SEQ. Blue Couch has an attractive blue/green colour and is low in maintenance due to slower growing and minimal seed heads compared to standard couch varieties. It is a lush, soft lawn with excellent weed resistance and drought tolerance once established. If damaged, Blue Couch will recover quickly.
